State compensation for Ukrainian seeds

Agrarians need to implement 4 steps to get 80% compensation for the cost of purchased seed material of domestic breeding.

This was discussed at a seminar in Mykolayiv on raising the awareness of agrarians about granting subsidies, with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Viktor Sheremet, the ministry said.

So, the agrarians need:

1) to buy seeds of agricultural plants of domestic breeding from the subjects of seed production specified in the State Register of Seed Breeders. The validity period of their certificates is defined in the Register of Certificates for seeds and / or planting stock;

2) to form a package of supporting documents;

3) submit to the state bank an application and supporting documents for financial support;

4) receive funds to an account with a state bank.

According to the report, documents for partial compensation can be filed twice a year.
