Trials in Turkey

Once again, the annual meeting with partners in Turkey was fruitful and very friendly. The evaluation of the selection of winter wheat line material was, as always, a commission with a considerable protocol of intent. In recent years, some lines have shown stable yields and grain quality. This year’s results confirm the excellent adaptability of certain material to growing conditions in the Central Anatolia area.

As always, the warm and soulful atmosphere of communication with the management of Buke Tarim inspires the continuation of research work on the creation of even better varieties of winter cereals. It is gratifying that our joint share of Turkey’s winter wheat seed market has a strong upward trend.
